How indispensable are mobile computing devices in your life? Are they an "extension" of who you are?

A week monitoring my use of one device was hectic enough for me. I don't have the attention to detail to make myself concentious enough to create something as detailed as Nicholas Feltron; although I'd like to force myself to create one some year.
